It amazes me how this Global Network keeps us all connected. I admit I don't keep up with the news like I should. I randomly catch bits and pieces of the news, in the truck, headed to work. I click on something that catches my eye online. I don't have televisions service. I often think that small town works for me, over the life I had in the city, because there are less options, I can live in my own little world, and the less I'm required to know, the less uninformed or uneducated I feel. It's always fun to post a photo album of my little jaunts here and there, knowing someone, somewhere will be adventuring along with me, while sitting in their office cubicle. There's just too much information to soak up in this cyber world, it seems that everything gets lost the moment it hits the net.....
What a surprise it was to arrive at my parents, from my little shin-dig Saturday, (that even thrown together with minimal effort and time, was an overall success) to find an Email from Charles Brennan of KMOX radio in St.Louis. I grew up listening to KMOX every morning, every weekend. So here it is 8:00 a.m. and I'm about to head back into St.Louis to interview with Mr. Brennan.... this is quite an honor...
But call me simple minded.... It still blows my mind that this project of mine... although HUGE in my little world, has circulated to the computer of a Radio Personality 2200 miles away from my home.... I didn't expect too many people to notice me.... but I guess the 6'4" guy with the big mustache was bound to catch SOME sort of attention while runnin around in a Wedding Gown...
Silly Me.
This is Awesome.
